About Us

BARLATËS was created with a clear intention: to bring real pilates and real barre back to the forefront.

As these disciplines have become increasingly diluted, we chose a different path — one rooted in proper training, precision, and respect for the method. Our standards are high by design, because your body deserves nothing less.

Our Story

After 20+ years of Ballet/Pilates and a lifelong passion for movement, Bonnie & Ulana wanted to create a space where fitness feels feminine, freeing, and sustainable, not punishing.

BARLATËS blends the elegance of barre with the core strength of pilates, designed to bring out your most confident, radiant self. With the rise in popularity of pilates, we’ve found that the OG classical movements have been lost. A lot of the ‘pilates’ classes you’re taking out there are strength-based workouts, not actual pilates.

Here at BARLATËS, we are MAKING PILATES PILATES AGAIN! We are bringing back the OG classical movements of pilates and combining it with barre movements to give you a contemporary, strength-based workout that will leave you feeling longer, leaner, stronger and with better alignment and posture.

We love a good workout, a good laugh and a good time! Come join us for the most fun workout experience out there!

Who we are

BARLATËS was born from a love of movement, community, and the quiet power of strength that starts from within. We believe movement should feel like self-care. Our approach is mindful, low-impact, and beautifully effective. Because when you move with love, your whole life changes. Come experience it for yourself. Your first class is waiting!

The BARLATËS Method - Where Barre meets Pilates meets Mat-Reformer

BARRE:
Barre fitness blends the grace of ballet with the precision of Pilates and the burn of strength training, all set to upbeat music for an empowering, spicy and low-impact workout.

BARLATËS Sculpt
Our signature method blending barre & pilates. Think strength with elegance, precision with flow, and sculpting that feels both powerful and feminine. The perfect “everything in one” class.

MAT PILATES:
Our Pilates program combines classical mat pilates with creative, reformer-inspired mat classes that challenge and inspire. Grounded in technique but elevated with thoughtful variety, these classes strengthen, align, and energize the body without losing the integrity of true pilates.

  • Sara is a Pilates instructor who found the practice after falling in love with running. Running is hard on the body, and for her, it manifested as persistent back pain. Pilates helped her build strength, eliminate pain, and better understand her body. As a teacher, she’s encouraging but unapologetically challenging - clients can expect to work hard, be pushed, and leave feeling stronger than when they arrived.
